We all have a family member, friend or co-worker living with a mental illness. It’s time to talk about this last taboo.

ORCHESTRATING CHANGE is the documentary film that tells the inspiring story of Me2/Orchestra, the only classical music organization in the world for people with mental illnesses and those who support them. Led by a once world-renowned conductor whose own career was shattered by his diagnosis of bipolar disorder, the Me2/Orchestra’s exhilarating performances challenge societal stereotypes about mental illness.

Why this film is so important
Playing with Me2/ is transforming the lives of the musicians who face stigma and discrimination on a daily basis. This amazing orchestra has enabled them to come out of the shadows and be heard. While performing exhilarating music, they breakdown stereotypes, reconnect with society, foster acceptance, friendships and most important, realize their own abilities.

We’re happy to announce that filming of ORCHESTRATING CHANGE is now complete. The last scene was a wonderful concert at the Flynn Center in Burlington, VT combining Me2/Burlington and Me2/Boston for the first time—some 70 musicians on stage. It was a major success for Maestro Ronald Braunstein and all the musicians who came together to make beautiful music while proving that people living with mental health diagnoses are capable of great achievements.
We’re now embarking on post-production and appreciate your support—including donations—to finish this important project.
