We all have a family member, friend or co-worker living with a mental illness. It’s time to talk about this last taboo.

ORCHESTRATING CHANGE is the documentary film that tells the inspiring story of Me2/Orchestra, the only classical music organization in the world for people with mental illnesses and those who support them. Led by a once world-renowned conductor whose own career was shattered by his diagnosis of bipolar disorder, the Me2/Orchestra’s exhilarating performances challenge societal stereotypes about mental illness.

Why this film is so important
Playing with Me2/ is transforming the lives of the musicians who face stigma and discrimination on a daily basis. This amazing orchestra has enabled them to come out of the shadows and be heard. While performing exhilarating music, they breakdown stereotypes, reconnect with society, foster acceptance, friendships and most important, realize their own abilities.

We are now 2/3rd of the way done filming. On June 25, 2017, Me2/Burlington and Me2/Boston, will be combined for the first time—nearly 100 musicians—on stage at the historic Flynn Center for the Performing Arts in Burlington, Vermont. The concert will be an emotional triumph for maestro Ronald Braunstein and the musicians who have so generally shared their personal stories with us.
